In each paper, you will chose a topic from the Western Civilizations book and explain its events and significance. Your paper must include a discussion of three (3) documents from the Perspectives from the Past book that are relevant to your topic. A topic can compare & contrast, or make an informed argument about a civilization or event, or follow a theme across several chapters. Your paper should begin with a descriptive title, as well as an introductory paragraph (including your overall main argument and the points you will discuss in support of your argument). You will need at least one parenthetical page citation per supporting paragraph (Perspectives 46), for example, and for every quotation.
