TH: Alexander the great was a successful and great leader because he was known as the world’s most legendary military commander and at the age of 20 years old becoming the youngest king in western civilization history.
Par. 1: Alexander the great was known as the world’s most legendary military commander because he had emerged and conquered victorious battles over 13 years from which he forged one of the largest empires anyone has ever seen. He created 70 cities, which consisted of learning, commercial and administrative centers with the presence of scholars, translators, soldiers and engineers.
Par. 2: Following his father’s assassination Alexander succeeded him to the Macedon throne and the 20 year old King ruthlessly murdered all of his rivals to the crown. This ruthlessness would contribute to Alexander conquering most of the known world with an empire that stretched for 10,000 miles and around the Mediterranean, most of Europe and reached the borders of India.
