PART ONE (2 pages) MICROECONOMICS
Research and familiarize yourself with an actual market failure.
Write a paper that includes a description of the failure, why it is/was a market failure, and the consequences of this failure. In your paper, also explore why (or why not) this failure could have been avoided and explain the alternatives.
PART TWO (one pages) IT BUSINESS SYSTEMS
Every system put into place at a company is driven by some business need: a need for email service, a need to store and back up files, a need to login remotely. Each of these systems has their business need weighed against their business risk (their cost and security, and so on).
Pick a business system. Explain the business risks of such a system and how you might counter, offset, or negate the business risks to achieve better overall results.
