Compare and contrast The 1972 attack on the Olympic Games and The Besian School Massacre
Your paper will contain sufficient historical references to establish the groundwork for your original compare/contrast analysis. Your compare/contrast is the focus of this paper – not the historical facts – and it should be based on at least three core concepts from this course: the complexity of defining terrorism, the use of morality to justify terrorism as a tactic, use of terrorism and terrorist organizations to achieve state policy goals, dissident terrorism (revolutionary, nihilist, and nationalist), gender issues in terrorism, use of terrorist tactics by criminal organizations, and the threat of domestic terrorism. The minimum requirement is that you use at least two outside sources of information in addition to your textbook, however successful students will well exceed this minimum. Ensure you use only valid scholarly sources of information, and cite them appropriately in the body of the text and in an appropriate bibliography. The 8 to 10 pages required for this paper refers only to the body of the text, and students should not include their title page, abstract (if present), or bibliography in the final count.
