This research paper is a critical analysis of a primary source created in Ancient Rome. For this paper, any work created by Marcus Aurelius will be analyzed.
– Some of the questions to be answered include: Who was the author? Why did they create this work? What are their biases? What can the work tell us about the period in which it was created? Is this work helpful for modern scholars studying the period in which it was created? Why or why not? Use at least three specific episodes or elements from the subject to support the argument.
– The Ancient History Source book is an excellent resource to find Roman texts including some by Marcus Aurelius.
