Choose a topic from a Media source, like newspapers, magazine, etc.. That is related to the course material.
write a three to five page account of how the article illustrates some dimension of the class material and how a sociological approach offers greater insight into your topic. This may include strategies or recommendations for rectifying conflicts. You must draw explicitly from course readings to support your arguments. The exercise is intended to make you aware of what is happening around you, and more importantly, how sociology is relevant to everyday events.
