As a reminder, the paper itself must be 5-7 pages of text (not including the title page or references/bibliography) in APA format. Research a current or proposed DoD project (such as a major weapons system) and describe its mission, purpose, or use. Discuss the major political forces affecting the project, including its main supporters and adversaries (within the services, among politicians and special interests, from government contractors and businesses, etc.) Also, explain the major financial aspects of the project, such as costs (actual or projected) and priority among other Dod projects. Discuss the current status of the project (drawing board, in testing, in production, being cancelled, etc.). Finally, provide your recommendtion as to the feasibilty, needs, and costs and benfits of the program. For example, is the project or program worth pursuing, a waste of taxpayer money, a great success, or in need of major changes?
