Two-part writer’s choice
There has been an increased hype over the new I- phone 5, and most people would like to get their hands on the phone even when it is not yet out. People should not be too quick to base their judgments as to whether or not to purchase the phone. It may be flashy and edgy and flashy, however, there are plenty more phones in the market that are just as good as the I-phone. For instance, the Samsung Galaxy S3 has proven itself as a force to reckon with, putting into account that it has formidable features, and applications that are just as superior as the I-phone. Nowadays, mobile users are interested in a phone that is classy in order to keep up with the trends while still maintaining a strong cover that is hard to break and destroy in case it should fall. The Samsung phone has all these features and yet is still extremely affordable compared to the i-phones in the market now.
The S3 slimmer n appearance compared to the I- phone making it easy to slip into compact spaces such as pockets and small bags. The survey consisted of people between the ages of seventeen and thirty-five. Their biggest concerns regarding a good phone were based on the features and applications on the phone. Younger people between seventeen and twenty-five required applications that would assist in making their lives easier. This would ultimately include applications that helped with time managements. This would consist of diaries and planners. Some wanted phones that would help them work out. In any case, applications served as a major role in the role in marketing the phones to the public. Extra features that made the phones popular included games and inclusion of social network sites that allowed the user to access the websites in real time.
A phone is a representation of a person. People make a habit of choosing phones that reflect their personalities. The younger people in the survey preferred phones that were clear and neat. The Samsung phone does not scratch easily which puts it in the forefront when it comes to maintenance and longevity. The back cover is easily removable if it should get old or if the owner gets bored of the color. The Samsung phone appealed to the crowd because it fit well in small spaces reducing the risk of damage. The large space available for storage of contacts, information and media are also attractive.
The market is available for people that require bigger screens. Upon reexamination and measurement, the Samsung had a massive screen compared to the i-phone. The hulking screen is convenient for people that are constantly on the web with their phones and require a clear view of their research or content. People that like to take photographs with their phones will also enjoy the spacious screens and should take advantage of the resolutions. The large screen is appropriate for recording and viewing videos (Warman matt, 2012). The speakerphone on the Samsung is loud and can notice the surrounding sounds. The screen on the Samsung phone brakes less easily compared to the i-phone if both were dropped at the same height and magnitude. The Samsung phone also appealed to people that required the navigational features. These features have become acutely popular especially for people that do not have navigational systems in their cars. These applications act as maps whenever one is attempting to locate a place.
The people surveyed would prefer several changes in a phone. The people surveyed preferred a slimmer and lighter phone, regardless of the manufacturer. The Samsung phone in the review had different issues when it came to use in light (Chaston, 1999). This was, however, easily fixable by adjusting the light on the settings part of the phone. The back covers presented themselves as an issue, but again, this was decidedly easily repaired, as protective covers for each phone are easily available in the market for a low price. These back covers are also available in a range of colors that are easily interchangeable if the user should want to jazz up his or her phone. This is different from the I- phone, as it is only available in two colors. This does not leave much option for the user.
Based on the features explored in all phones, it is easy for users to decide on the phones they want. It is also not hard to market the Samsung phone due to its excellent features and applications. The market for people that want a phone that is just like the I- phone is available and marketers should take advantage of the available market by providing a product that has quality and style, but affordable. It is essential to note, however, that the phone is available only in the form of a touch screen. People that are not particularly handy with the screens might find it a bit difficult to enjoy the features. Some of the features include sending of text messages and answering phone calls.
