Persuasive Speech Assignment

This speech is designed as a culmination of all the skills you have learned in the course. Your goal in this speech is to influence this audience in a desired direction.  Demonstrate that you understand the issues (citing quality sources), that you have thoroughly investigated the data (by looking at both sides of the issue), and that your expertise can be relied upon (giving personal examples or narratives)
4. You must use at least one appeal to audience needs: Emotional appeal (pathos).
 Ex: stories about the plight of a person, especially a person with whom your audience can identify or for whom audiences typically feel a high degree of concern, are often quite effective in generating emotional responses.
