Parents are our first and most important Teachers
My dad has been my role model from childhood until now with me acquiring plenty of knowledge from him. There is this one day I learnt the most valuable lesson from him that obedience to our parents and any other person older than me is next to Godliness. I had so many cool friends back in school that came from rich families and came showing off their parents luxurious vehicles. My family was not that rich yet I pretended as if I was just fit in to my peers. My dad’s job involved a number of journeys to neighboring cities living me with my mum and younger brother.
There came a day that my dad was away and my mum had to live home early because she had to attend to a client. Since my brother was in a different school, I let board his school bus then I had the opportunity I was waiting my whole life, to drive myself to school. The car keys were in the living so I grab them and head straight to the car garage. Just to ascertain that our neighbors did not see me, I drove off with the windows closed. On the last street to school where a number of my classmates walked to school, I lowered my window just to let them see me drive myself.
I was so thrilled every time someone noticed I was the one driving I even stretched my arms outside to say hi to them. With my focus on the other side of the road, I could not see a kid crossing the road. The kid was playing with two of his friends who were chasing after him so he chose to cross the road as a get away from them. Though I was not at a high speed, I hit the boy with the vehicle and stopped. Little did I know the entire school was standing surrounding the vehicle just to see what had happened. The director came and the case turned to a police situation.
My dad had to come from wherever he was since the vehicle involved in the accident was his. My dad was so angry and disappointed in me that it took a lot of time before he was the free man to me as before the scenery. The trust my dad had me was lost and nothing ever made me feel empty than losing my parents trust. Regaining their trust was something that cost me a lot of effort as well as a lot of time. Losing my parents trust was the biggest challenge up to date and obedience is the most important thing as a child. I suffered the consequences to my actions and learned a lesson the hard way.
Parent set an affirmative example to their children since they spend more time with them expecting them to portray an excellent attitude. As a child grows up, he or she gets to learn plenty of things from the parents. The roughest about the hardships in life are evident from our parents, thus they have to educate children on the precise methods of approaching various challenges they overcome while growing up. Parents are most important since they have the responsibility to ensure that their children are successful in life. Every parent’s joy is to ensure that their child make it in life.
