This implies that the mental health of an individual is directly connected to the moods. Individuals can take personal responsibility by taking exercise that will enable the body to change immediately. The impact of exercise to the body is immediate whether the exercise is vigorous in the gym or simple bike ride (Cattan & Tilford, 2006). Keeping fit enables proper circulation of blood in the entire human body. This is appropriate for good mental health in growing the brain cells.

The individual’s mental health is also connected with making sober decisions in crucial situations. The external environments that are the political, economical, social and physical require sober judgment attributed to proper mental health (Tengland, 2001).

Building resilience in childhood simply refers to the ability that is reinforced to the children by the parents in adapting to the trauma, threats and other sources of stress. This is vital at the tender age, which will definitely assist the children as they mature and face diverse challenges in life. Children cannot handle stress on their own since their mental status is immature. However, proper guidance from parents is vital in ensuring that the children are capable to coup up with stressful and depression incidents in life. Developing children in most instances are capable of facing bullying classmates and abuse from family members and other relations (Tengland, 2001). Enabling the young children to build resilience is vital in ensuring that the children will be capable of dealing with anxiety and uncertainty.
