Are cell phones safe?
Thesis: Since its discovery to the current day, cell phone has contributed to serious negative health predicaments, and accidents, despite the numerous benefits humanity, enjoys in easing communication.
Technology and it are evolution over ages has significantly improved human life in diverse ways and sectors where people have enjoyed its effects. However, despite the positive benefits which humanity enjoys emanating from technology, it has proved otherwise and contributed to complications. These results from prolonged application where the effects are not detected instantly especially cell phone. Despite easing communication cell phone produces radiations which have been attributed with numerous kinds of head cancer. In addition, it is associated with head tumor since the radiations it emits are similar to those of microwave and get in blood streams where it causes destruction and turns to precursor to cancer. Cell phone has been the cause of numerous road accidents where many motorists receive and make calls while driving, thus diverting their attention, which causes grievous accidents.
This topic interests me in the way these gadgets have been taken naively where majority of people has not even up to now known and believed whether they emit radiations, which are harmful to human health. This will offer me chance to augment my acquaintance concerning these phenomena, since earlier I did not believe whether cell phones had any negative setbacks, which might be dangerous to humanity. I also need to use the same information in undertaking a meticulous research, which will enable me convince and prove to the unbelieving concerning this “mystery.” Also, I would to establish whether the impact on humanity is same for all genders and if not who are affected most.
I am planning to narrow focus mainly on health impacts, which are brought by the cell phone use plus how it contributes to accidents in diverse fields. It will entail people at different ages plus gender of each person and which is vulnerable to the prolonged use. Cell phone negative impacts results from prolonged use, where I want to establish vividly how long it takes for one to have developed the grievous complications. In addition, the proximity of the phone when one is in possession of it or while carrying it. This will be prompted by the issue of infertility in men and how its radiations cause this predicament and whether it has any impact on women.
In undertaking my research, I will encounter numerous obstacles which one involves the many sources, which I have to be selective so that what I use will comply with what I am studying. This will assist in staging my case effectively and my work look credible while trying to persuade the doubting people. I also, foresee difficult in obtaining the current information concerning my study since technology evolving extremely fast and different gadgets emit radiations diversely. This will prove difficult in stating which radiation-range is safe since the application of cell phone has turned to be part of each person’s life. This information I may lack since no company will wish to sate their emission radiations range.
My audience will involve each who uses cell phone in sensitizing them of the negative impacts of emitted radiations, and the end results which emanates with prolonged use. Additionally, in the list are the motorists in informing them to shun the habit of taking or making calls while in traffic. The research will also address the machine and chemical process operators and any person who might be doing a demanding job and tempted to use a cell phone.
