Movie review: Finding Nemo
Contextualization
Finding Nemo from my perspective happens to be the most intelligently created animation film I have ever watched. With its combination of brilliantly animated characters, together with its fascinating characters voices amass up an extraordinary plot that displays a lifetime experience that greatly works a number of different levels. Often mistaken for a children’s film, Finding Nemo is an animation film specially created for family viewing. In comparison with other animation films that were created during the same era as finding Nemo, Finding Nemo’s characters possess the voices of big actors with an intriguing background, which is further supported by its amazing animated surroundings made by the latest designing technologies of the films’ producing company, Pixar.
Film Summary
Nemo, the main character in the film, is clown Fish who initially lived with his two parents in the deep seas. However, a tragic incidence takes place in the waters where a barracuda predator fish finishes off Nemo’s mother and the in the struggle of the rage taking place during the incidence, also kills all the eggs of the couple that was nurturing them, apart from one. Marlin, the father, is now left with a single egg after the terrible incidence and decides to treasure it and raise it on his own in a spoilt way. In the course of the nurturing the egg, it finally breaks and a young lad springs out and the Marlin decides to name him Nemo.
While growing up, in school Nemo happens to make a couple of friends and in the course of it, Nemo finds himself in a situation where he has to prove his bravery and in the process happens to be fish napped by a diver and ends up in a dentist’s office, inside an aquarium. Intrigue in the film begins after Nemo’s father finds out that his only son has been fish napped and decides to go beyond the Great barrier to the rescue of Nemo. In the course if the rescue mission, Marlin seeks aid from any fish that was around during the occurrence and thinks he may have found help from a regal blue tang fish named Dory. Dory however is a fish that happens to be suffering from relentless short term memory but the disorder does not let Marlin misjudge Dory as he embarks on a long journey in search of Nemo, making up the most part of the film, hence the Title “Finding Nemo”.
Dory happens to kelp Marlin in a number of places such as the discovery of the dentist’s surname which happened to become the main clue that led them beyond Sydney. Throughout their journey, Marlin and Dory happen to encounter very interesting characters in the waters, some dangerous and other very humorous. White Sharks and Jelly fish are only but a few of the dangerous and interesting characters that Marlin and Dory come across prior to the cross over at the East Australian Currents. At the East Australian Currents, a school of friendly fish come across the pair and asks them their direction in the ocean. After hearing their story, they decide to escort them in their direction towards Sydney of which eventually they happen to arrive at.
Nevertheless, Marlin and Dory are not the only ones in the film trying to make a run for it. Nemo finds himself in a tank inside the Dentist’s office that happens to work just close to the shore. Even so, Nemo is not the only fish in the tank as he meets a gang of colorful characters, led by Gill, a fish who also happens to be the only creature captured from the sea, apart from Nemo. Among other characters that Nemo encounters in the tank area blow fish named bloat, star fishy named Peach, who plays the role of a watch tower, a yellow tang Fish called bubbles and a couple more fish who play a part in the humor presented in the gang in the fish tank. Nemo is later initiated into the gang and convinces the gang to come up with a plot to escape the rule of the dentist and the tank at large. The plot then has to be quick since the discovery that the dentist was planning on giving out Nemo to his Niece Darla, a young girl who was very mean to fish. A breathtaking escape route is set out in the course of the adventures that the gang of fish and Nemo’s father on the other end encounter, of which at the end manage to escape and Nemo reunites with his father and the gang of fish escape the wrath of the dentist’s niece and make it out to freedom in the sea.
Evaluation
The animation film “Finding Nemo” is actually a fun movie to watch as traditionally carries the theme of Disney films except that the sense of humor and plot line of the motion picture does not depict the traditions of Disney, making the film a family movie instead of a kids’ film. Despite the fact that the film’s trailers did not reveal the humor that was present in the motion picture, a lot of misjudgments could have been made concerning the content of the film.
Conclusion
Released in the year 2003, Finding Nemo happens to be a film that the adults can also view as it was created behind a pulse that lays out an outline that caters to the adult and children’s perspective with the real voices tat big actors have been associated with. In comparison with the past types of animation films, Finding Nemo places animation films in a new trend that captures the reality of such films with their designing along with the voices of the characters.
