BARAKA Assignment
View the film Baraka through the lens of your philosopher. This will require you to know and comprehend your philosopher’s educational philosophy quite intimately-and apply this understanding in analyzing this unique and fascinating and challenging film BARAKA.
One way to do this is to organize your paper by writing the beginning portion of your paper as a synthesis of your philosopher’s philosophy which you will then use as a jumping off or a grounding point for your discussion of the film Baraka. You may want to focus on one or two (or more) main elements of your philosopher’s educational philosophy which you deem relevant and important and will allow and enable you to discuss the film in a coherent and engaging manner.
In the paper I will be looking for
• Clearly written synthesis of your philosopher’s philosophy. (3 points)
• Adequate, knowledgeable discussion of the content of the movie from the perspective of your philosopher (4 points)
• Examples of how information/content/of this film may be relevant in the world of education according to your philosopher’s perspective. (4 points)
