Reasons for Attending College
College education is relevant for almost everyone in the current world because of the opportunities it gives people. College has always been a place that I admire to be for several reasons. These reasons are both personal and professional. My desire to join college at this age emanate from personal reason, which involve self-satisfaction and personal knowledge improvement for my future. Recently, I have had to prepare for my college education by saving money to facilitate the education. I have also been researching on the best colleges that are available for my intended course of study. Most of them had several attractive buildings that were full with quiet students.
Joining college will ensure that I meet several intelligent people living successful lives in their respective futures. Meeting such people will also encourage me to have similar inspiration and in turn pursue the goals that I want. I appreciate that college allows people to socialize because college students meet other students who come from diverse origins. I will use the respective connections that I establish in college, to create further significant networks in the future. For example, there are several possibilities that when I go to college I will meet people who will be influential in future.
College allows people to explore their talents throughout their respective term dates. I will also join college to explore both my known and unknown talents. I will ensure that I register for active college clubs and associations that promise help in this endeavor. Talent identification and nurture is a significant component of college life. This is because modern colleges have unique programs that help their respective students to utilize their talents efficiently. Exchange program could make me visit foreign places when in college. This suggests that the college will increase my chances of travelling to famous places and learning about these places.
Professional reasons for joining college will be the need to attain a relevant academic degree. Attaining these academic papers will guarantee the growth in my career. College papers will also ensure that I get promotions at my work place because I will have sufficient knowledge. My participation in undertaking college assignments will provide me with several opportunities for research. For example, before I attain my college degree I will undertake some research. This research will allow me to explore significant aspects in the subjects that I will be studying.
Joining college at my age (37) indicates that I have a fascinating passion about education. This is a positive indication because it also suggests that age cannot stop me from completing any task given to me by superiors at any workstation. It is unlikely that I would meet my age mates while at college. This means that I will interact with younger people than I am. Meeting these people will facilitate my interaction with modernity on a unique level. This is because youthful people are always interested in exploring modern innovation.
Finally, I would like to join college to provide an appropriate mentorship to my beautiful children and other people who respect me. In the future, I will proudly tell them the significance of college education because I would have the college degree as proof. No one will consider me as one who did not attain a decent education. This means that joining college is a preparation from any legacy that I wish to live for my children. It would be an encouraging feeling because of the intense respect I will attain.
