E-democracy has been affected by electronic transformation of political elements in developed economies (Mahrer & Krimmer, 2005). Technology has been acquired for excellent a wide form of access of the government services. Its implementation is however quite slow and little support from other sectors. E-democracy relies on electronic transformation of the political elements to provide its services. The electronic transformation system is a system that is applied to bring on board the citizens in government processes. The research was based on theoretical and empirical evidence which desires to explore the phenomenon related to possible e-democracy enhancements.
  • The parliamentarians are well informed on the e-government processes.
  • The politicians are confident that the e-democracy will meet the objective of limiting bureaucracy.
  • The process has several barriers relating to demand of the e-government as well as its supply.
The electronic system has had a great impact on the government in bringing the citizens on board on the government processes.

The E-services elevate the reaction, efficiency and transparency of the citizens. Though these advantages may not be acquire by all. A digital divide is prevalent in the society. The government dependents on the electronic services to interact with the citizens for better services. The digital divide has brought about varied impact on the people. This is a survey on a section of the citizens on the impact of the e-services on them and how the digital divide has come about. The survey looks to note the population features which affect the application of the government services. The outcome show that wages, education, age and rate of internet majorly affected the application of e-government services. Digital divide is an effect that has been brought about by the use of e-services to the citizens in e-government
