Fahrenheit 451 research paper
Observation
Fahrenheit 451 takes places in the 24th century and introduces the world that is controlled by the media. People no longer use read novel but rather are consumed by technology. In the book Fahrenheit 451 books are illegal and soon books will stop being published. People’s habits have changes and use technology to put books on screen rather than on paper (Bradbury). Therefore people traditional habits have been altered by technology. Even through technology helps the society, in some aspects it is destroyed some portion of it. Bradbury’s the antagonist is provides evidence of how the future will look like. People will be glued to the television screens which are an imitation of the Montag’s society. Bradbury wife (Helen) is faced by the same situation being glued to the “parlor wall” which resemble a large screens television and claims that it would be more fun when the can afford they forth wall installed. “It’s really fun. It’ll be even more fun when we can afford to have our forth wall installed. How long you figure before we save up and get our forth wall-TV put in? It’s only two thousand dollars” (Helen). Helens comments reinforce the thought patterns of people within this society.
According to research technology is making our society much lazier. The research states that “Businesses come out with new technology… students have to constantly keep up with it and it leaves the people in our society lazier” (Technology future helpful or hurting). The claim can be proofed people rare pay attention to one another in their home. Children are busy with their ipad, laptops and phones burying their minds in technology.
It is believed that technology is building a dump society. People have become lazier according to an article “Spelling is not everyone strength” (Connecting or Hurting Humanity). Its shows that students use of spell checker rather than use dictionaries have made them poor spellers and lazier t take time and look a word up. It is necessary for people who have spelling problem to improve their spelling through the use of a dictionary rather than spell checker. It very common today that student fail to go the library to do research they would rather use the internet which is faster and less time consuming. However, if students want to be smart technology is not the way to go. People, generally assume that technology is the smart way to do things but it’s turning the society into fictional zombies that Bradbury portrayed in the Fahrenheit 451.
Technology has taken over the world and people have lost control of the lives. According to Technology Future Helpful or Hurting technology has destroyed the way the society functions. Through its growth of the past decades people have become attached to technology and therefore cannot function without it. This claim is especially to the youth, what will occur if technology is gone how will survive and they will become devastated. The characters in Fahrenheit 451 cannot live without technology and their live are inter twined with technology.
According to the book Fahrenheit 451 technologies is depicted in every aspect of one’s life. In the book Motag describes a mechanical hound in this form “Irritated, but not completely angry. Just enough ‘memory’ set up in it by someone so it growled when I touched it” (Montag). This statement shows that technology is mirrored as another family member. This illustrates that technology will take over the society and later be part and parcel of their daily live.
In general the appeal of technology has become one’s life, therefore once it lost people will become brain dead, it will becoming a disease that need a cure, however people narrow view of technology like nothing else can help them has become a societal cage. All technologies have them advantages however, the societal views on technology is the problem.

Internet
With the coming into place of technology, book reading has been rendered void. The books are now available in varied sites on the internet that make work simpler, for instance: Spark notes. The technology has transformed the society from the traditional aspects or reading (Bradbury). Even though it has been of help to us I many ways, the book by Bradbury states how the society will be in the coming times.
With regard to an article on modern technology, it has been stated that it makes our society more reliant on it. They are not able to do other things as they see it as a simpler way of doing things. The article states that business invents technology and people, more so students are in constant track of the latest technology coming out making them more reliant on simpler ways of doing things (Technology future helpful or hurting). This is noticeable when one sees how the towns or homes are run. People are in one way of the other reliant on technology this is a good way to show that technology has consumed the society.
A number of people are of the thought that technology is dumbing our society. In the article there was a statement stating that spelling is not a person’s strong attribute (Connecting or Hurting Humanity). It is not an ability that every person can claim; however people do have dictionaries to help them in spelling. There have now been the spell check which makes spelling harder and people are able to get an easier time in checking their spelling. People that do not know to get the spelling of things will have to get dictionaries so as to get the spellings correct. Not being aware of the spelling of some words is not an excuse of using the technology. Individuals look into the varied technologies they buy while not considering the books they have. People additionally go to the internet for search engines and library for solutions to varied problems. If individuals were cleverer, they would not make use of technology. The application of technology to become cleverer portrays how the society is to getting to the setting brought about by Bradbury.
With the present of these technologies, individuals are beginning to lack control of their lives in an efficient manner. An article that is of the thought that technology is harmful to the society states that technology has grown in the few years. They are being advanced so that we are able to live with them. We have grown to be reliant on technology.
