Aluminum

Introduction

Aluminum cans, newspapers and glass are items that can be recycled. The production of these items involve a complex process and a lot of energy is needed to so. Recycling these items would help to save cost of production. The recycling of these products would similarly help to ease the waste products in our world that are dumped everywhere hence creating a dangerous environment to live in.

Aluminum cans are recycled back as new cans. Aluminum cans are recycled as they help to conserve the environment as well as saving enough energy that can be used for other important purposes. A case in instance is that it saves energy for the purpose of running a television for approximately three hours                                                                                                                                               which similar to a half a gallon of gasoline (library.thinkquest). Recycling is necessary considering that over 80 billion cans are used every year in the form of soda cans, with no recycling taking place the world would increasingly be a hazardous place to live in.

Newspapers produced only on Sunday would lead to the cutting down of over 500, 000 trees. Any attempt made to recycle these items would save a lot of trees; this hence means that throwing away papers would simply be a way of killing several trees. They are recycled into paperboard, newsprint, insulation as well as beddings for the animals.

Glass comprise of about 8% of the total waste products, the recycling process involved takes into consideration two types of products, refillable and nonrefillable. Recycling this similarly saves energy; their recycling produces new glass products.

In addition to recycling these items, each and every person should aim to think globally and act locally as way of saving the present and future generations. A person should be ready not to purchase products that harm the environment or otherwise invest them, as this would similarly be like supporting the continued process of destruction to the environment (islamic-world). We should also purchase drinking products from in glass or cans rather than other plastic substances. One should decline the use of paper to carry products while one can carry by hand. When one is purchasing products, do so in bulk so as to save the number of waste paper going into the environment.

Conclusion

Each and every person should aim to create a clean and safe environment for the future generations to live in, disposing of waste properly would comfortably help to save space, energy and cost of the production process.
