The informative partner presentation is a formal, 6-8 minute informative presentation on a business-related subject. The idea is to inform the audience rather than to persuade or sell your opinion.
All presentations are expected to meet the following guidelines:
• _Presentation topics must be selected from the options listed on this page.
• _Each presentation must include a minimum of 4-6 references from 2-3 different sources. One source must be from the Camosun College online database (periodical, journal, or newspaper). All references must be properly cited using APA style.

Marks will be awarded on how well the purpose and main points are supported with evidence from your research (cited references).

Investigate the growing use of social media in a business setting by comparing two organizations that currently use this communication strategy. Identify which media are being used and for what purposes. Report on the structure and policies (if any) developed by each company to govern use of this technology, and make note of their successes and challenges. Provide an overview of the pros, cons, and future use of this technology in the business environment.
