NOTE: You must use electronic resources only – that is, sources that can be found through online databases at the University.

Format: Students should use the template provided (posted on Blackboard) to structure their assessment.

Submission: On Blackboard via Turnitin. *

*For more information on Turnitin see ‘Assessments’ on Blackboard. VERY IMPORTANT – ensure that you receive a Turnitin receipt confirming that your submission has been successful.

You must choose readings that will help you answer one of the following two questions:

(1) How might adopting Corporate Social Responsibility as an approach affect decision making in a business? OR

(2) How might adopting workplace democracy affect decision making in a business?

Additionally, you must also include a reading on the topic of critical thinking in business.

Therefore the annotated bibliography will contain three readings related to either corporate social responsibility or workplace democracy plus one reading related to critical thinking totalling four readings in all.

› These readings should be scholarly works—that is, journal articles or book chapters. Scholarly means that the reading will cite the work of others and be appropriately referenced.

› You MUST use electronic resources. That is, sources that can be found through online databases at the University.

› All sources MUST be in English

› You will provide an annotation for each of the readings you have selected. For each annotation you will need to provide a two-paragraph summary that offers a critical analysis of the article or chapter and provides comments on its relevance in answering your chosen question. Ensure that the paragraphs are academic in style.
