The student will consider the literary aspects of the Koran. The student will write a long essay on the Koran considering the five most interesting ideas or items the student found while reading the assignment and watching the lecture–at least three of the ideas or items must come from the lecture. These ideas must be indicated as coming from the lecture. Failure to do this will mean a reduced grade for the essay.
