Write an essay that answers the question below. It should be 6-10 double-spaced typed pages of text, not including footnotes
and/or bibliography. The essay should be coherent and well organized. It should clearly state your understanding of the essay
question. Use the book, but paraphrase or put the information in your own words. Finally, you should provide evidence for
your interpretations, reasons for your critical assessments, and citations where you are relying on another person’s work.
2. This assignment requires knowledge only of the required primary text, which you must cite when you rely upon the authors’
words or ideas. If you read secondary commentaries, you must cite them in footnotes and/or a bibliography.
III. PLAGIARISM
In your essay, you are required to document (cite) all of your sources. If you do not cite a source, and you use someone’s
exact words, then, it is considered plagiarism. It is extremely important that you document all the works cited in your paper
and all of the supplemental material you read, even if you do not refer to the work in your paper. (You can find additional
