3. Considerable research has been conducted regarding the socializing agents most likely to influence children’s
socialization into sport and physical activity. Remember that socialization may be into or not into sport, and it may be into
some sports or forms of physical activity and not into others. Reflect on your own socialization into sport and physical
activity. Discuss the socializing agents who influenced both the nature and the extent of your participation. That is to say
you should address all types of socializing agents and how they impacted your participation in sport. Compare and contrast
your experiences to specific generalizations made in the textbook – you should quote or paraphrase them (be sure to include
page numbers). (20 pts.)
