1. Watch the video posted in this section. Don’t skip this part. It’s only a few minutes long and will help you formulate your thoughts on the topic.
2. Write a 500-1000 word essay discussing your opinion about whether spanking is justified or not (and why). I suggest giving a separate paragraph for each of the following: a) What are some of the pros and cons to spanking, in your opinion? Try to see both sides here. b) What were your experiences as a kid? Did you get spanked? How did/do you feel about it? c) If/when you have kids of your own, will you use spanking as a discipline technique? Why or why not? So, overall, if you include an intro and closing paragraphs, then you should have a 5-paragraph essay.
3. Check your paper for formatting (see the instructions for your first essay, if you can’t remember) and spelling/grarmmar errors.
