I have provided the data in Excel format. This is a reduced data set (n=98) in order for you to have more options for obtaining a proper license for SmartPLS software.
The full version is quite expensive, but luckily there are viable alternatives. The student version is free, but it accepts only 99 rows (hence reduced data set). You might also be able to download an older full version and get a free registration key by email, or simply download a 30-day trial version of the latest software.
Please note that you will need to convert the Excel file into an acceptable format in order to import data to SmartPls. Missing values are currently marked as 0.00, but you might want to change them, in particular if you first use statistical software such as SPSS to scan the data (e.g. factor analysis). You will also need to inform SmartPls about the missing values when you import and validate the data.
My expectations are as follows:
Find a model that makes sense both logically and statistically. The data includes approximately 90 variables, but there is no point trying to include all of them into one model. A viable number of variables will likely be somewhere between 20-30 variables, depending on the model. You have free hands to decide on the type of model; whether it is a traditional multiple regression model, a mediated model, a moderated model, a second-order construct model, etc.
In any case, you will need to provide evidence of the viability of your model, including internal consistency, regression values, test values, significances, etc. There is no format for the report, but you will have to report and explain all main steps that you perform (in order for me to be able to replicate). Thus, I recommend using screen shots and copy pasted tables to support this process.
The most important part is the resulting model, because you will have to also explain the model; what it means, what it tells us, what the main message is, what the expected findings are, what the surprising findings are, etc. The articles that you have read will be of great help, so it is a good idea to refer to them in your explanation. However, I am not asking you to write an article or theory review; reporting of the process and the results (model) are what matter in terms of grade.
