Create a Counseling Agency (5-10 pages) that focuses At Risk Youth and Families of Domestic Violence and the underlying issues of Homelessness for the families and youth being at risk for becoming the abuser due to the violence in the home as well as being homeless. This agency design should be based on the community counseling model. For the community counseling agency project, this would include programs, administrative structure and duties, funding, policies, etc. Each agency will be presented as a final course packet that will demonstrate his/her understanding of the community counseling model and the community agency organization’s structure and operations.
For the “Creation of Agency”. There are 16 items to be addressed. If you don’t see the document let me know. I will give examples fro each of the items as to what the instructor is looking for as far as information needed for each item.

This can be made up as far as how long the agency has been in existence
2. Mission Statement
what you want to accomplish, such as reducing the problem ect.
3. Goals
what are the goals for the agency, ie. planning to expand to other areas, communities or states or any goals there may be for the agency.
4. Population Served
At Risk Youths and Families of Domestic Violence
5. Needs Assessment
Assess the needs of the community of which you are serving and list the needs of that community
6. Funding
Where do you or will you get the money to run your agency? ie. township, city state, human services ect.
7. Organizational Structure/Decision Making Process
What does the structure look like? ie. CEO, CFO, social worker, Trustee ect.
8. Staffing
How many employees, Titles and positions. ie. counselors mentors ect.
9.Treatment Philosophy/Programs
What’s my philosophy/ theory (solution focused or Reality therapy) how do you believe people get better?
10. Flow of Operations/Treatment Procedures (Direct or Indirect)
How does the the agency actually work? ie. Intake Process, Application Process, Assessment of clients case between counselors and ect.
11. Program Outcomes/ Agency Effectiveness
What do I want the outcome to be? ie. reduce the problem/ issue ect.
12. Evaluation of Strengths
Evaluate the strengths of the agency and program/services offered
13. Assessment of Limitations
What can be added or improved to make the agency better, ie. what is the agency missing as far as services or programs
14. Recommendations
This is where the answers from Assessment of Limitations will go
15. Summary
Summarize the programs/ services/ and agency
16. Conclusion
Overview of everything
APA Format 7 full pages of content or as many pages needed to complete the agency. 1 page each for the title, abstract and reference pages.
