Interpreting Religious Scriptures

Choose three passages from the Hebrew Bible, New Testament, and Qur’an. (See the online links to these scriptures in English translation, and type in topics of interest to you, such as God, creation, prophets, sin, war, love, women, nature, trees, and so forth.)

Evaluate the passage briefly using either a religionist or reductionist perspective.
Demonstrate your command of this week’s readings, and your knowledge of other course sources from the course.
Use the two references given plus an additional reference.
