Write an introduction explaining the topic area you are investigating and why you chose these references. Then critically synthesize the findings from the sources. A synthesis is a pulling together of diverse approaches and points of view. To do so, think of the following questions:
1. What have you learned from these resources? How do these resources relate to one another?
2. How do they compare in terms of methodologies, approaches, theoretical standpoints?
3. What converging and/or contrasting findings do they report?
4. What kinds of arguments and interpretation do they propose?
5. What are the limitations of these resources?
6. In what way do they highlight and strengthen the issue you are trying to solve?
