You are to choose a recent (within the past 10 years) US Supreme Court decision that is relevant to what we will discuss in this course (for example, search and seizure, or freedom of speech, or gun control). You will identify the constitutional question(s) raised in the case, present both sides of the case and the Supreme Courts decision, explain the Constitutional significance / how the decision changes American Law, and give your personal opinion on whether the case was correctly decided, and why or why not.
You will prepare either a 5-7 page paper, or a 3-5 minute narrated presentation. The presentations format would be up to you. It could be something such as a narrated PowerPoint, a narrated Prezi, a YouTube video, or something that is a combination of tools such as Jing, Screenr or Screencast.
Please present your topic to me for approval and consultation by the end of Week 2. Your paper or presentation should contain at least 4 credible, scholarly sources, and should adhere to the Brandmans plagiarism policy.

Submit your paper/presentation by adding a new page and naming the page the same as your assignment file name. Please note that your paper or presentation may be viewed by your colleagues in this class.
When you upload your paper or your presentation, please save it in the appropriate format with your name and the case name in the file, using Last Name_Case Name. So, if your name were Alicia Jackson, and your case was Roe v. Wade, you would title it Jackson_Roe v Wade.
