Body 1 (around 200 words):
Explain three groups at risk such as ( pregnant mothers, infants, children, teens, adults and/or elderly) should be related to the three health priorities.
Body 2 (around 450 words each body describe a health determinant around 150 words):
Choose one priority from the( mental, social, emotional and/or human – community capability) and discuss three determinants of health ( social determinants, biological determinants and /or environments determinants).
Choose one from each or more:
• Social determinants( social gradients- early life- Transport- addiction- food-unemployment- stress- work).
• Biological determinants(age-sex-race).
• Environmental determinants(air pollution- water pollution- land degradation- contaminated food).
Body 3 (both 200 words but 100 words each body):
A- Describes what is being planned as a strategy to improve the chosen health priority.
B- Discusses how that strategy compares to what is considered effective ‘best-practice’ to improve the same health priority. Provide clear explanations, specific and relevant examples, plus logical supporting evidence.
Conclusion (around 100 words).
Summarize the ideas.
Reflective Practice(around 200 words):
The reflection describes how the requirements of this assignment contribute to developing skills and knowledge relevant to your course – perhaps even your career pathway as a health or other professional. For example, discuss how knowledge regarding the determinants of health can be beneficial. Provide specific examples.
