And then set out what Australia needs to provide for asylum seekers to fulfil their obligation. I have also attached an Australian Parliamentary Library background note about the provision of healthcare for asylum seekers on Manus and Nauru – but take care this is written in 2013 and there has been a lot happening in 2014-15 – but I do think that this will be really helpful. There is also a briefing paper from the Human Rights Legal Resource Centre which includes a little section about asylum seekers but this is dated 2009, so just be aware that the situation will have changed a little bit.
