I’m doing an online master’s in psychology in an UK university, at this moment I’m trying to get a supervisor for my thesis, and I don’t have much time to find one.
I have a professor that it’s interested, however I have sent him an email & I’m in need to reply to him and this is what I need in this paper – the reply.
The theme of my thesis:
Body Image, Body Composition, and Sociosexuality.
Perspective Taking: Effect of Accessible Cultural Values on Cross-Cultural Differences.
When I sent the email to the professor this was his reply:
-This looks like a good idea but I only supervise qualitative projects, so you would need to think about what you would do, who would be the participants and how you would analyse the data. Your welcome to come back to me once you have thought these questions through.
This professor Preferred approach is: Foucauldian Discourse Analysis (FDA).
Will also supervise projects using thematic analysis or IPA.
So I need the paper to be according to this, however I would prefer an empirical study has I don’t have time to collect data.
If all goes well I will keep on choosing the writer that will answer this, in order to complete my thesis.
