The purpose of this assessment is to allow you an opportunity to provide evidence that you are able to achieve the following learning outcomes:
1. Identify and critically reflect on knowledge, clinical reasoning and practical skills competencies underpinning clinical practices and continuing learning as part of the process of personal development.
2. Demonstrate an ability to develop and implement learning strategies to advance personal and professional development.
3. Compare, analyse and evaluate the rationale for different diagnostic imaging approaches to the management of patients.
7. Contextualise your role and appraise their potential to influence and implement positive, evidence based change into improved outcomes.

Guidance Notes:
You are expected to critically reflect on your engagement with the module learning experiences using a self-selected reflective framework. You should review your portfolio which you have been developing during Trimester B and extract evidence to support your findings. The following headings can be used to tackle this coursework as they are broadly applicable to most reflective frameworks.

Dear writer:
– This essay is reflective on PACS in Scotland which i found it interesting during “placement”.
– Why i found PACS in Scotland valuable? When i have been in national hospital in Glasgow i found that PACS in whole Scotland is linked- that means practitioner e.g radiologist or radiographer can check history of patient in radiology departments- which is different to my country Saudi Arabia. In my country, every hospital has own PACS – that means every hospital start the diagnostic process from beginning which cause wasting time, overdoses exposure to patient, late treatment … etc
– So the main idea here is linked PACS
– This is 2nd diet, my tutor asked me to improve 1st paper to meet the standard.
– It is important to check the feedback on 1st paper –uploaded for you-, it will ease your work.

• Introduction: In this section you should briefly explain the theory and rationale for reflective practice in Healthcare, referring to a variety of sources. You should introduce the focus of your essay and offer why this is important to you personally and professionally (see Task section).

Dear writer:
Regarding to tutor, this section is OK – check the feedback-

Dear writer: please note that the tutor asked me to remove overview subheading

• Main Body (you are encouraged to use subheadings): Identify and justify your chosen reflective framework. This section should demonstrate evidence of your reflection on events/experiences of particular personal significance; including description, evaluation and analysis. There should be evidence of connecting theory to practice. There should be evidence of critical evaluation of the evidence base when suggesting an appropriate action for change /improvement.

Dear writer:
– This is the most important section
– She asked me to start by identifying and justifying the chosen reflective style “Rolfe”

– Then start subheadings

*what :
Explain what i see

*So what: here it is important to justify / Ref / literature
-No repeated exams, no overdoses radiation, no wasting time for patient and practitioner, quicker to diagnose
– HIS / RIS
– Adv / Dis
-who gain access to check patient details / confidentiality

*Now what: no need to refer every point
-action plan
-what i can change to make our PACS in Saudi Arabia linked like Scotland
– being a manager on my department, challenge i will face is that there are many ministries provide healthcare services, for example: health ministry for public hospitals, defense ministry for military hospitals, national guard for its employees and their families
So it is difficult to
– leadership skills are needed and support from radiology authority
– meetings with proffentioals bodies to presude them.
So on

• Conclusion: In this section you should summarise the issues explored; offer what you have learnt from the above section and how you intend to employ this new knowledge/ learning. You should contextualise your role and appraise your potential to influence and implement change to improve outcomes specific to your field of practice.

Dear writer:
– In summry, PACS allows viewing throw the country will be beneficial
– This reflective paper will help to think implementation this change
– So on
