In three pages, give four paragraphs: an introduction; some things you like about the book; some criticism; and a concluding paragraph on the book. Write a review of the book not a summary. This essay should show the grader that you read the book and have engaged with it. Pretend the grader has not read it, so in the first paragraph give the complete title and author’s ;last name to identify what you are reviewing. After that use a brief title and just the authors last name when you refer tot hem. When you quote from the book – give the page number in parentheses.
