To clarify the HW, simply answer the first topic questions. For answering #1-5 use your topic answer and modify it using “Although” and “because” in creating a complicated thesis.
I went ahead and did the first question as an example:
Topic: How do “home” spaces reflect social (ideological) values?
Almost every living room in America has a television which reflects values of materialism.
- Should Americans learn to be more thrifty and make more efficient use of their living spaces? Why? (use although and because).
Although most living rooms have televisions, Americans should consider a living room without a T.V. because it will encourage reading.
