You will do a phenomenological description of each site and then, as an academic exercise, describing the buildings, you will use more and more appropriate terms as you learn them. You will either use the terms
in written description or as labels in your illustrations
You should
write one page to explain your preference of the “better siteâ€Â for aesthetic reasons, or why I like it for more
poetic and personal reasons. These two different approaches to aesthetic choice will acquaint you with the
difference between aesthetic judgment and personal preference. Taste is more a matter of education thanÂ
mere preference. (This is important; remember this distinction.)
