In 1942, there are three battles that could be considered “turning points” in the Second World War: The Battle of Midway, the Battle of Stalingrad, and the Second Battle of El Alamein (combined with Operation Torch). How did each of these battles change World War II? Is it appropriate to say that one of these battles was THE turning point of the war? Why or Why not?
