Dear family,
I am writing this letter back home in response to experience in my new land. Coming to America was a dream plan since I had heard a lot of stories about the global nation. I wanted to come to America because I wanted to experience a totally different culture. I want to experience the new culture of technology and economic growth.
I am writing to you back home to tell you that in my new land and working at a local bank as an accountant. The job is well rewarding as I also get time to go to school in the evening. I live in California right now. This is a metropolitan town where Mexicans, Indians, and Black Americans are living. Living with the mixed groups is quite an experience. Mexicans are quite awesome people with beauty and investment in love. Their love for nature is credibly rewarding. The Indian love for homemade music and dance has exposed me to a state of appreciating nature. Not forgetting their love for the varied foods, which is an amazing thing for me here in America. In fact, China is a traditional country and people are shy there. American people are friendly and enthusiastic. It’s really different stay in the U.S. than China.
Migrating from Asia to America was a just an amazing decision. The fact that in America, the Asian cuisines, experiences, and beliefs cannot be belittled. I am not able to access to the different Asian languages and tradition like the Korean and Japanese. I have been able to learn the diverse languages as a result of living here. The fact that I live with the Indians means that I have to learn their tradition. Let me elaborate it fur there. Remember back at home we have theBuddhism. Living with the Indians has been made me understand that different cultures appreciate the worship different gods. Look here my homeland, Muslims, Buddhists; Indians have their gods that they hold a firm believes in.
I am also writing home to explain the fact that, as an immigrant, I have not been able to make careless mistakes. In America, the issues of corruption, careless driving and lawlessness is not condoned. It is also important to note that in my new land, laws are respected as they form the core reason nation exist. I have been enrolled to the needed standards that roll as the core for the progress.
America respects its identity and culture. In America, special days are respected to honor the events that have had an impact on the growth of the nation as explained by (George, 2013). In America, July 4th every year is an independence day; September 7th is Labor Day, November 11, is a Veteran’s day. In this respect, you will realize that even in America, there is a need to honor and respect the nation’s pride (George, 2013).
I want to write off my memoirs and appreciation of the new land by noting that as an immigrant to America, it is not as being at home. Our races, cultures and tradition are various. Our language and accents vary and therefore, we can never be the same with Americans. While trying to adapt, I have met some hilarious statements drawn from my color. It has not been easy, but I have been able to overcome because I came for a purposeful reason.
