You are invited to chose a topic whose study will, in some manner, deepen your understanding of Hinduism. The possibility is almost limitless: from Hindu comics, Hindu death rituals, the politics of Hindutva, the politics of untouchability, Mahatma Gandhi, modern Indian artists, the philosophical teachings of the Upanishads, yoga, and on and on…. After selecting a topic, you will decide how you want to explore and present it – through a term paper, a video, a comic book, or music. The requirements will vary. I was thinking of writing on “the role of water in Hinduism.”
