Write an essay that discusses the short story “Flowers for Algernon” and the film Charly (Ralph Nelson, 1968). You can also use “A Logic named Joe” and its radio version, and/or use the essays on intelligence that we read (Asimov, Jonker, and “9 Types of Intelligence”) in order to strengthen your essay.
You can discuss any or all of the following:
· compare and contrast the stories and radio/film versions
· the role of science versus nature
· the difficulties of playing God
· technology and its benefits or issues in society
· intelligence and its role in society.
