Occupational Safety and Health Administration is a key agency in the United States of America that is concerned especially with aspects affecting the department of labor. This was in the year 1970 the month of December when there were numerous cases concerning the health of the employees. The then US president Nixon Richard through the amendment of the Occupational Safety and Health Act commenced the establishment of the OSHA agency. In the initial years in America, after the industrialization era, most industries were in search of labor. However, almost none of the industries paid attention to the health of the workers. Most of the industries focused on the achievements and profitable gains of the firm. The key aim of the paper is to discuss in detail the history, function and achievements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration agency in implementing safety measures
Literature review
The focus of the paper will be to discuss the historical foundation of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration since the year 1970. The various people and situations that led to the establishment of the agency will also be a key focus. Another aspect that will be viewed in the literature review is the historical content of OSHA organization initializes in the factories today. Since the number of industries has increased, it implies that the risks exposed to the employees have also increased. The measures taken by the OSHA organization to ensure that the firms are maintaining a proper healthy environment to the workers will be featured in the paper. The final aim of the paper is to identify the achievement and success of the paper and research solutions accomplished by the OSHA organization.

Since the foundation of the OSHA organization, various owners and employers of industries tried to resist the regulations enacted by the department of labor. The primary sources involve the methodology that will be used in search of information concerning the study. This encompasses of the questionnaires, observations and interviews.
Discussion and conclusion
The employees were never included in the safety measures of the firm in the ancient years. To help reduce the increased unsafely environment exposed to the employees especially in the firms, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration was introduced. The chief role performed by the OSHA agency is to ensure that the working conditions in the firms are appropriate for both the male and female employees. All the members that belonged to the labor department organization were assured of a safe working environment.
