ADVERTISING FOR COCA-COLA
Advertising is the promotion of a companies’ product with the aim of increasing sales and create awareness of the various products. The main aim is to attract new customers, increase of sales, promote the image of company and introduce new products. There are various methods of advertising but these methods are dictated by four major factors. These are price, product, promotion and place.
Price-the price of a product tends dictates whether customers will be able to afford or not. Fair pricing will encourage the good to be bought which will make advertising easier and cheaper since word of mouth will be effective.
Product-the packaging method will either promote the product or make it fail. If one uses bright colors that attract customers it will sell but vice versa it will fail. So, attractive packaging will lead to easier advertisement.
Promotion-this referrer’s language a manufacturer uses to explain his/her product in the market. It involves advertising, personal selling, sales promotion and public relation.
Place/location- it referrers to the convenience of the product to the customer. If one advertises a product and actually catches the attention of the local people and they go out looking for the product and it is not in stoke. The customer then gets discouraged and vows not to buy the product. This scenario is the same for many customers then the outcome is no sales and all the advertisement becomes a liability.
With all this factors put in place then the suitable choice of advertisement method can be applied and the product will sell at very fast rates.

In celebrity branding people use famous person’s actors, music icons and so on. These people are paid to wear or use the products hoping their funs will also do the same. In covert advertising is where corporations that have been banned to market their goods produce that have the same name to remind their consumers of the product.

In radio advertising is slightly cheaper in with comparison to the rest. In television it depends on the length of the advertisement hence may be cheaper.
Disadvantages –limited to area with electricity and signal service. In case of movies not all movies are allowed in all countries hence limits the coverage and advertisements. Not all celebrities are socially acceptable hence biasness towards to the product by some consumers.
Coca-cola has been here before many of us were born. It has been in market dominance for quite a while therefore hence the type of advertising is mainly to maintain customer base and market dominance.
