This mainly happens when equipment becomes slow, or the technology becomes outdated and is not useful anymore. Prezi is a good tool for presentations because of its interactivity. It can be easily incorporated across different platforms (Anderson, 2012). Its cloud capability makes it easy to access and present to the users. The presentations performed on Prezi are dynamic in nature as they allow change in form. It is best used with visual data, which makes it easy to understand. It presents several challenges to its users. It is complex to use and is not easy to acquire an application.
It is not user friendly as some users find it complex. PowerPoint on is user friendly and easy to understand. PowerPoint easily attracts and audience and interactive (Finkelstein & Samsonov, 2008). It is popular with many users as compared Prezi, which makes it a preferable too. When presenting upgrade information to technicians, it is the best choice because of its reliability. It is easy to access PowerPoint resources as it comes with a Microsoft office package.
It is important to know the right time to perform am equipment upgrade. The following indicators would be used as indicators for carrying out the upgrades. If the employees of a firm are taking more than the allocated time to accomplish some tasks. It is also wise to consider an upgrade if the business is using new powerful applications that need equally powerful equipments. Upgrading makes financial sense as the cost of purchasing new equipment is significantly reduced.
Contrast
Once the decision has been made to perform the upgrade, it is good to notify the technicians of the decision. There is a need to present the information to the technicians in the simplest way they can understand. There are tools that are used for the purpose of doing such presentations. These tools are computer applications that have been proven the best tools in performing these tasks. PowerPoint combines audio and video and which makes the users familiar with the information they are given. Information presented on PowerPoint in straight to the point interactive. Pictures and diagrams of equipments to be upgraded can be included in PowerPoint presentation. Unlike Prezi, PowerPoint can work in areas where there is no internet access. Prezi requires internet access for the cloud application to work efficiently. PowerPoint is the best tool to use to presenting information about equipment upgrade.
