Analyze a case from the U.S. Supreme Court in which you believe the court used judicial activism to push forward a social change in U.S. society. In your response you need to discuss the case fully, what social changes were made, whether or not in your opinion it was the right decision and whether the court overstepped its authority? You’ll need to discuss the overall theory of judicial review, judicial activism and judicial restraint. The paper must be at least four pages double spaced with cites.
