Your boss is the Chief Executive of the World Governing Body/Federation of one of the above sports. You should choose ONEof these sports
He/She has asked you to produce a report outlining the challenges for their sport in the next 10 years and analyse the relative importance of these challenges. From this you are asked to provide a critical uncertainties map for the sport in the next 10 years and then choose your own two critical uncertainties to consider as a scenario cross (if you have not done this before, do not worry, we will cover it in full). From this cross they would like you to choose the best and worst scenario to discuss, and based on this, provide recommendations for these two scenarios.
To summarise, you are asked to:-
a) Analyze the issues in the next 10 years for this sport (and provide support for these points in the form of data, quotes or references) (30%)
b) Undertake a critical uncertainties map (10%)
c) Provide two critical uncertainties to consider and a scenario cross (10%)
d) Outline the four scenarios and discuss the best and worst scenarios (so two out of the four – the best and worst) (25%)
e) Provide recommendations to the theatre should the best and worst scenario happen (20%)
