Watching four leadership movies:
– Lincoln (2012 Film / Directed by Steven Spielberg)
– Ghandi (1982 Film / Directed by Richard Attenborough)
– The Avengers (2012 Film / Directed by Joss Whedon)
– The Hobbit: Unexpected Journey (2012 Film / Directed by Peter Jackson)
Write the paper in Q&A style:
1. Some people call Gandhi a “charismatic leader”. What does that mean? Why did people want to follow him?
2. Pick out your favorite quote from Ghandi and one other of the three movies and explain what the quote means to you?

3. Can you come up with ways that you can apply Ghandi’s and Lincoln’s ideas to American business?
4.Who do you think was the more effective leader (you must make a choice here and defend your position—( I know both were good but…which one is better Ghandi or Lincoln?)
5. Choose a present -day leader and compare/contrast this person’s leadership style with that of Abraham Lincoln’s.
6. Analyze the power base of Bilbo Baggins.
7. Analyze the leadership characteristics of Captain America, Ironman, The Hulk, and Thor. Why did these leaders have such enormous conflict? What was the impetus for creating a working and successful environment for them? Which character was the most effective leader?
8. Of all the leadership characters depicted in these four movies, who would you most like to be and why?
