Argumentative: Dependency on Computers
We are becoming overwhelmingly dependent on computers. Is this dependence on computers a good thing or should we be more suspicious of their benefits?
With the coming into being of humans, technology has greatly developed over the past years and still today it is still advancing. The presence of computer has greatly changed the way we work, communicate and do our various activities. The impact has been both for the good and for the bad.
We are able to receive responses from distant people by just clicking on a mouse. This has been made possible with the coming into being of the internet as well as the advancement of the hardware and software. We are able to process documents and create solutions to varied problems in a better manner. Like for businesses and entertainment use them to acquire profits, students use to them for researches among other uses. It is hence definite that computers are significant in our current daily life. We have no other substitute for this. On the other side of computers, are the dangers that result from it. We are hence supposed to be more suspicious of it.
With the computers being so beneficial, they on the other hand can be evil. The availability of the computer technology has led people to easily cheat in exams, in the internet among other methods. It is a trend that if one gets hooked to it may lead to imprisonment or event death as one would be ganged by the victims. Health wise, computers are affecting the eyes of the users gradually minimizing their ability to see. The users have been known to shift to using glasses due to the impact done by computers.
Conclusively, computers have transformed our lives greatly but should be mindful of the negative effects that may result from it. We should have an open mind and accept upcoming technology while on the hand use them consciously. We are hence supposed to be aware of how to use them correctly and legally.
