Looking at the landscape at a first glance, the eye is directed to the massive ominous mountain in the surroundings, which stands as the fundamental focal point of the painting. Looking closely at the painting below the mountain is a river surrounded by trees, giving the painting a natural look (Lin, 2006). The natural beauty presented in the painting is so attractive that one may overlook the two human beings present in the painting.
The lines used in the painting are soft and smooth, all the lines gushing together to create a harmonious environment caused by the natural beauty of the surrounding. In contrast are the lines used to paint human beings, their lines are rigid compared to the lines used to create the background surrounding environment (Lin, 2006). The shape and form of the piece make the mountains and trees to take a three-dimensional shape making them appear to be far, nonetheless on the human structure a two dimensional method is used to make the lines of the painting.
The space, shown in the painting represents a vast terrain. The values of the painting appearing to be light and airy prove of a conducive atmosphere around the painting. The ink used to make the piece of art represent thorough work that was skillful and made with cautiousness (Lin, 2006). The artist’s skill of blending diverse colors brings out the true beauty of the painting. In addition, some of the colors are somehow faint while others bold bring out some form of peace to the painting. The painting represents the relationship between nature and human beings. The human beings depend on nature to relax and reflect about life (Lin, 2006).

Traditional art medium from china was influenced by the ruling dynasties and the religions of the Chinese people (Yang & Yang, 2006). Technological changes have also played a big part in building traditional art medium of china. The art also incorporated by nature, as it has always been an inspiration to Chinese artist. Diverse mediums exist for the traditional art of china, for instance; folk art is one form of Chinese traditional art. The artist use folk medium to represent mythological and superstitious beliefs. The folk art represents life in its fullness and the myths surrounding life and religion. The artist uses intuition, impersonation, recollections and experiences of life to develop the traditional art (Yang & Yang, 2006).
The traditional art represents the beliefs of the people in the past and the myths surrounding life and religion. Feelings expressed in pieces of art to show represent the feelings of people in religion and life. For years, the Chinese folk art has aimed at comprehending about the spirits and myths surrounding the Chinese religion. The folk artist uses all features of life embraced by a majority of the Chinese people (Yang & Yang, 2006). The folk artists are aware of the feelings of the Chinese people and they use the feelings in the art drawings. The Chinese people get to learn more about philosophies and education with regard to life. Through the pieces of art, knowledge is enhanced and the people get to know more about the traditional Chinese life and religion. Crafts are the most popular form of folk art that incorporates spiritual life of the Chinese people and the myths surrounding their traditional beliefs of life. love is also expressed by the folk artist. This is shown by the presence of natural beauty present in the folk art that ensures people live in love and harmony.
