The assignment is to write an annotated bibliography for five sources:. The Sources will be provided. For each source, you must include thesis of the work: summarized accurately, fairly, and clearly, an accurate summary of the thesis is the most important part of the annotation. Also, you must include the scope of the work: what are the topics that the source covers. Lastly include the intended audience. The annotation of each source should be one paragraph long.
Also, you must provide a paragraph which is the motivation. for example if the topic about Lincoln and Woodrow wilson, the motivation would be as follows:
I would like to write about Woodrow Wilson and his connection to Lincoln. I’ve always been fascinated by Wilson, especially his desire to bring peace to the world through the League of Nations after World War I. I want to have a better understanding of Wilson’s connection back to Lincoln. Wilson was president 50 years after Lincoln, so I wonder if Lincoln’s influence was still present or not. Like Lincoln, Wilson was a war-time president, so how they think about war and how they choose to lead Americans during wartime are intriguing to me. Wilson, also, was a Democrat, and Lincoln was a Republican; did Wilson try to minimize this partisan differences. Their political affiliation may be an issue, but at this point I am not sure what to make of it. I also want to know about Wilson’s upbringing and how he learned to become a persuasive speaker and leader. I’m interested in presidential and international politics and how people become great speakers, and I think that Wilson would be a great model.
