Re: Training Seminar
Dear Mr. Dittmer,
I am pleased about your past services to our company. It has always been a pleasure working with your company in the past. I am the Administrative assistant at the Human Resources Department in Broadworth General Hospital. The Director of Human Resources, Miriam Hopkins, has asked me to inform you about a two-hour training seminar we are organizing at the hospital for 20 office supervisors.
The aim of the seminar will be to cover the topics of sexual harassment and unlawful discrimination in the workplace. The training will take place on June 5 2013 at the hospital conference hall. We would like to request you to provide us with a trainer to teach the seminar. We would also be in line if you sent us a list of the resources the trainer will need for the facilitation of the training. Above that, you can make any necessary recommendations required for the kind of proposed training and possible additional topics for the training. We hope that this will be another opportunity for you to work with us on the employee-training project.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely yours,
Judy Jacobs
Administrative Assistant

Subject: Training Confirmation from
I have received a confirmation for the proposed training from Wydade Consulting Services. The company agrees for the set date of February 5 2013. They agree the topics of the training though there is a request for an increase of the training duration to 3 hours instead of 2 hours as earlier scheduled. An additional training subject (case reporting) was added to the proposed topics by the training consultants to complement the other two at no additional costs from the company.
The local manager Mr. Dittmer has assigned Deb Walker (e-mail: Deb.Walker@wydadecs.com) as the seminar trainer. He also sent us the list for the necessary training materials required for by the trainer. I will enclose that letter hereby for you to have a look at it and determine your agreement with its contents.
I have made necessary arrangements with the supervisors selected for the training and will be emailing a letter of date confirmation to them later this evening. I will also be writing to the referred trainer to ask her to provide us with the training curriculum. I have also sent an email to the conference hall managers and I will be receiving a confirmation from them for the availability of the hall on the scheduled date at time. I will give you a call in the afternoon to confirm the availability of the hall and any necessary provisions needed by the staffs to make up for the day.
Here enclosed you will have the list of resources required for the upcoming training.
I will be available for any questions you may have regarding the training arrangements.

In our communication with local office manager Jeremy Dittmer, he referred your name as the designated trainer for an upcoming seminar in our company. As indicated in past communication, an agreement with your company has the seminar dates set for 5 June 2013. The training will take three hours as agreed upon by our company and by Mr. Dittimer. The venue of the training is at the Broadworth General Hospital Conference Hall.
The topics of the training will be sexual harassment, case reporting and unlawful discrimination in the workplace. The upcoming training will incorporate 20 office supervisors. Depending on the trust we have in your company according to past services received, we are glad to have you as the recommended trainer for the coming seminar.
Since we trust in the professionalism of your company, we are sure that this will be a positive experience in handling the topics, as they are necessary for our supervisors. Meanwhile, I am sure you would like to give your opinion on the proposed training since the entire process will be under your facilitation on the seminar date:
• Are you comfortable to handle the proposed topics?
• Is the date for the training convenient to you?
• Is the provided time adequate for the exhaustion of the seminar topics?
For us to have all the necessary requirements set in place within the required time, it would be appropriate if you get back to me within two weeks of receiving this email. I will be glad to answer any questions necessary for the training issues so feel free to ask anything you would like to know regarding the seminar.
All the best
Judy Jacobs
